Man in NE China city found dead after killing 2 and injuring 7
沈阳市某超市发生一起刑事案件致2死7伤，警方发现犯罪嫌疑人尸体
A man from Shenyang, Northeast China’s Liaoning Province killed two and injured another seven in a knife attack on Thursday. The suspect was later found dead, the local police said.
The suspect surnamed Tian attacked a person with a knife in a market in Shenyang’s Dadong district. The victim died shortly after first responders arrived. Tian later killed another person and injured seven more while he was running away, according to a statement published by local public security bureau.
Police said they later found the suspect’s body in a sewage well.
The attack occurred when Tian, 61 years old and owner of a meat stall in the market, started to argue with a customer, thepaper.com reported.
【警情通报】2021年7月14日9时50分，我市大东区某生鲜超市发生一起刑事案件，犯罪嫌疑人田某某持刀将吴某某砍伤（经抢救无效死亡），并在逃跑过程中先后将8名群众扎伤（其中1人经抢救无效死亡）。
7月14日13时20分，警方在浑南区白塔镇大羊安村附近锁定犯罪嫌疑人田某某活动区域后，立即调集警力对该区域进行封控，连夜开展地毯式搜查。7月15日18时4分，警方在该区域一污水井内发现犯罪嫌疑人田某某尸体。
目前，该案件共造成2人死亡、7人受伤（均无生命危险）。案件正在进一步工作中。
