Oracle Faces Biggest Weekly Stock Drop in 25 Years
Oracle suffered its worst week on Wall Street in 25 years, with its stock falling 19% as investors worried about rising debt and costly AI investments. The company has lost about 55% of its market value since last September. Oracle now carries about $130 billion in debt after spending heavily on AI data centers, mainly to support OpenAI. Despite negative free cash flow and plans to raise another $40 billion, most analysts remain optimistic, saying strong AI demand could still support Oracle’s long-term growth.
