Tesla’s Second-Quarter Sales Rebound Beats Expectations

Tesla delivered over 480,000 vehicles in the second quarter, up by more than 120,000 from the first quarter despite a weak U.S. EV market. The company produced about 452,000 vehicles, mainly Model 3 and Model Y models, and delivered nearly 468,000 of them. The results were Tesla’s strongest second quarter ever and exceeded Wall Street’s expectations. Although overall sales have declined over the past two years, Tesla is boosting demand through expansion into new markets and more affordable versions of its popular EVs.
