School Shooting in Philippines Leaves Two Dead

A shooting at a junior high school in Zamboanga City, southern Philippines, left one student dead and nine people injured on Tuesday. A Grade 7 student reportedly entered the campus with a rifle and handgun, opened fire on students and teachers, and then killed himself. The school was closed as parents came to pick up their children. Police are investigating the motive.
