TikTok on Tuesday debuted TikTok for Artists, a music insights platform aiding artists in career growth by offering data on content performance, fan demographics (age, language, gender), and step-by-step guides. It also launched “Pre-Release” to let artists promote upcoming albums, allowing fans to pre-save to Spotify/Apple Music. Shifting focus from streaming, TikTok aims to boost music discovery/promotion. The platform is live in 30+ countries, with more rollouts planned.
