VW’s Jetta to Launch New China Firm for More Autonomy, 5 New Models by 2028
大众捷达将在华成立新公司以提升自主权，2028 年前推出 5 款新车型
Volkswagen’s Jetta brand will set up a new company in Chengdu, China, via a deal with FAW Group and Chengdu Economic Development Zone. Aimed at greater operational autonomy and flexibility, it will use local R&D and supply chains for faster market response and deeper localization. Jetta plans 5 new models by 2028 (4 NEVs), with the first in 2026, and will expand overseas. Launched independently in 2019, it once discussed partnering with Leapmotor in 2023.
大众汽车旗下捷达品牌将与一汽集团及成都经济技术开发区合作，在四川成都成立一家新公司。此举旨在获得更大的运营自主权与灵活性，新公司将借助中国本土的研发能力和成熟供应链，实现更快的市场反应速度和更深层次的本土化融合。捷达计划到 2028 年前推出 5 款新车型（其中 4 款为新能源汽车），首款车型将于 2026 年发布，同时还将拓展海外市场。捷达品牌于 2019 年开启独立运营，2023 年曾与零跑汽车探讨合作事宜。
