Tesla Nears European Launch of Full Self-Driving System

Tesla is close to launching its Full Self-Driving (FSD) system in Europe after completing extensive testing. The system logged over 1.6 million kilometers on public roads, 13,000 customer trials, and 4,500 closed-track scenarios, meeting more than 400 regulatory requirements. Dutch authorities are reviewing the results, with a decision expected by April 10. If approved, the Netherlands will be the first launch market, followed by expansion across the EU through certification recognition. A broader Europe-wide permit may arrive this summer. Priced at €7,500, FSD may also adopt a subscription model, helping Tesla stay competitive amid rising pressure and declining European sales.
