Tencent has officially launched the public beta of its AI assistant QClaw, expanding access from an invite-only program to all users. Designed as a “digital version of yourself,” QClaw integrates deeply with WeChat to automate everyday workflows, marking a significant step in bringing AI agents into mainstream productivity.
腾讯正式宣布其 AI 助手 QClaw 进入公开测试阶段，从此前的邀请制全面开放给所有用户使用。QClaw 被定位为“你的数字分身”，通过深度整合微信，将 AI 智能体引入日常工作流程，推动生产力工具的普及。
Built by Tencent’s PC Manager team and powered by the open-source OpenClaw framework, QClaw emphasizes simplicity with a “zero-setup” approach. Users can install the software, link it to WeChat via QR code, and begin issuing commands within minutes—no technical expertise required. Once connected, users can control their computers remotely through a WeChat Mini Program, enabling tasks such as file management, document editing, email drafting, and even software development automation from anywhere.

QClaw offers a wide range of capabilities. It can summarize conversations, generate replies, schedule meetings, and create documents. Beyond basic office functions, it supports web browsing, file reading and editing, Shell command execution, browser automation, and calendar management. It also connects with cross-platform messaging services like Telegram, WhatsApp, and Discord, while offering tools such as reminders, weather updates, text-to-speech, and news summaries. These features allow QClaw to handle both simple tasks and complex workflows.

A standout feature is its evolving “personal lobster” assistant, which continuously learns user preferences and adapts over time, transforming into a personalized productivity partner. The platform also includes a robust Skills ecosystem, integrating marketplaces like ClawHub and GitHub, with over 5,000 ready-to-use tools. Users can further customize their experience by building their own tools, such as Chrome extensions or automated research workflows for PDFs and LaTeX files.
