Manycore Tech, a Hangzhou-based design software firm dubbed one of the “Six Little Dragons”, surged on its Hong Kong trading debut, with shares jumping 172% at the open before closing up 144%. The stock opened at HK$20.70 from an offer price of HK$7.62, raising HK$1.09 billion. Strong demand saw the retail tranche oversubscribed nearly 1,590 times, with grey market gains also exceeding 160%. The company is positioning future growth around “spatial intelligence”, aiming to expand AI applications beyond language into real-world environments, which it views as key to achieving artificial general intelligence.
