DeepSeek Eyes $74 Billion Valuation Ahead of 2027 IPO

DeepSeek is nearing a new funding round that could value the Chinese AI start-up at about 500 billion yuan ($74 billion). The company plans to raise around 50 billion yuan by the end of August. Existing investors such as Monolith, Shixiang Capital and CATL are participating, while CPE, Legend Capital and other investors are also in talks. The fundraising is expected to support DeepSeek’s potential 2027 listing on Shanghai’s Star Market.
