Death toll from Henan flooding rises to 99, direct economic losses of $14 billion suffered

The death toll caused by floods in Central China’s Henan Province rose to 99 as of Thursday noon, said the Henan government at a press conference on Thursday.
Among the 99, 26 deaths were newly reported in Zhengzhou, capital city of Henan.
More than 13,912,800 people in 150 counties, cities and districts in Henan have been affected by the rainstorms since July 16, according to statistics from the national natural disaster management system.
More than 930,000 people in the province have undergone emergency relocation, with a total of 1,470,800 people relocated so far. Search efforts are still underway for missing people.
The affected area of crops in Henan is 1,048,500 hectares, with 527,000 hectares destroyed and 198,200 hectares seeing crop failure.
The natural disaster has resulted in direct economic losses of 90.981 billion yuan ($14 billion).
A total of 18,000 houses collapsed and 46,400 houses were severely damaged in the disaster.

雨情：7月28日7时至29日7时，河南省商丘、周口、濮阳、信阳、洛阳、三门峡的部分地区暴雨、大暴雨。最大点雨量商丘市夏邑县夏邑雨量站165mm，累积降雨量超过100mm雨量站点共65处。
全省仍有4座大型水库及27座中型水库超汛限水位
水情：卫（共）合河至淇门段超警戒水位。卫河水系已启用崔家桥、广润坡、良相坡、共渠西、柳围坡、长虹渠、白寺坡共7个滞洪区分滞洪水。全省有昭平台、盘石头、小南海、鲇鱼山4座大型水库及27座中型水库超汛限水位。

灾情：7月16日以来，截至29日12时，据国家自然灾害灾情管理系统统计，此轮强降雨造成全省150个县（市、区）1616个乡镇1391.28万人受灾，因灾遇难99人，仍有失踪人员在进一步核查当中。全省目前紧急转移安置93.03万人（累计转移安置147.08万人）；农作物受灾面积1048.5千公顷，成灾面积527.3千公顷，绝收面积198.2千公顷；倒塌房屋1.80万户5.76万间，严重损坏房屋4.64万户16.44万间，一般损坏房屋13.54万户61.88万间，直接经济损失909.81亿元。
