Evergrande Liquidators Auction Founder’s Private Jet

Evergrande’s liquidators have put an Airbus A319 business jet, formerly owned by founder Hui Ka Yan, up for sale to recover funds for overseas bond investors. Edward Middleton and Tiffany Wong of Alvarez & Marsal, appointed in January to oversee the liquidation of Evergrande’s Hong Kong-listed entity, now control the offshore company that purchased the jet. Currently located in Guangzhou, the private aircraft is a key asset being sold as part of efforts to mitigate losses from the collapse of the real estate giant.
恒大的清算人已将一架由创始人许家印拥有的空客A319公务机挂牌出售，以弥补海外债券投资者的损失。由Alvarez & Marsal的Edward Middleton和Tiffany Wong负责清算的恒大香港上市实体，于今年1月接管了购买该飞机的离岸公司。目前，这架私人飞机位于中国南方的广州，被视为恒大破产清算中一项重要的变现资产。
