Firefox to Close China Entity

Once the world’s second-largest browser with 30% global market share by 2009, Firefox, launched in 2009 as an open-source alternative to IE, plans to close its China entity. Its Chinese version notified users of the Beijing entity’s shutdown and account termination, though the notice was removed. The software will stay available. A Mozilla employee guided users on data backup. The Beijing entity is unreachable, with its office seemingly closed.
