An ongoing Microsoft outage has disrupted access to key Microsoft 365 services for enterprise customers, blocking emails, files, meetings, and chats. Microsoft said the issue began around 2:30 p.m. ET and was caused by a portion of its North American service infrastructure failing to process traffic properly. Affected services include Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams, impacting email access, file searches, and meeting creation. Administrators are also unable to access Microsoft Purview, Defender XDR security dashboards, and admin centers. Microsoft has not disclosed the exact cause but said it is working to restore the infrastructure and return services to normal operations.
