Russia fines Google 11 million rubles for ‘spreading fakes’
俄罗斯因“虚假信息”对谷歌处以 1100 万卢布罚款
A court in Moscow has fined Google’s parent company Alphabet Inc for failing to remove contentious videos. The US tech giant was handed two fines totalling 11m roubles ($135,000) for “administrative violations”. The Tagansky District Court in Moscow said the company had distributed inaccurate data about Russian troop losses and civilian casualties in Ukraine, according to TASS news agency.
俄罗斯莫斯科市一家法院当天对美国谷歌公司开出共计1100万卢布（约合88万元人民币）罚单，原因是该公司旗下的视频网站YouTube没有按照要求删除涉及乌克兰冲突的虚假信息以及在俄罗斯被列为极端组织的“右区”发布的乌克兰死亡平民的虚假视频。
