Ant Units Eye Hong Kong Stablecoin Licences to Fuel Global Ambitions
蚂蚁集团旗下公司申请香港稳定币牌照 助力全球布局
Ant International and Ant Digital, affiliates of Ant Group, plan to apply for stablecoin issuer licences in Hong Kong once the new ordinance takes effect in August. This aligns with Hong Kong’s goal to be a global finance hub. Ant International also intends to seek a licence in Singapore. Hong Kong’s Legislative Council passed the Stablecoins Bill in May, requiring licences for fiat-backed stablecoin issuers, making it one of the first jurisdictions to regulate them.
蚂蚁集团旗下的蚂蚁国际和蚂蚁数字计划在 8 月新条例生效后，申请香港稳定币发行牌照。这一举措与香港成为全球金融中心的目标一致。蚂蚁国际还打算在新加坡申请牌照。香港立法会于 5 月通过《稳定币条例》，要求法定货币支持的稳定币发行方须获得牌照，使香港成为首批规范稳定币发行的司法管辖区之一。
