The world’s largest Legoland in Shanghai began trial operations on Friday, set to officially open on July 5. The $550 million Legoland Shanghai Resort in Jinshan district covers 318,000 sqm, with 8 themed areas, 75 rides, a 250-room hotel, and over 85 million Lego bricks. Local officials estimate it could attract 2.4 million visitors annually, boosting Shanghai’s status as a global tourist hub.
