Apple unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max at its September event, powered by the A20 Pro, the first 2-nanometer chip in an iPhone, built with a six-core CPU, a seven-core GPU and a 32-core Neural Engine. Apple says the new silicon delivers big gains in speed and on-device intelligence. The Pro Max also packs a much larger battery. Pre-orders open on September 12, with sales starting September 18 in more than 60 countries and regions. The launch gives the iPhone its biggest annual upgrade in years, as rivals push foldables and AI features.
