Baidu to Issue Offshore Yuan Bonds to Repay Debt and Fund Operations

Chinese tech firm Baidu plans to issue yuan-denominated bonds in offshore markets to repay existing debt and support general corporate purposes, according to an exchange filing on Wednesday. The bond’s size, interest rate, and maturity will be determined based on market conditions.
据周三交易所公告，中国科技公司 百度 计划在 离岸市场 发行 人民币债券，用于 偿还现有债务 及 一般企业用途。债券规模、利率及期限将根据市场情况确定。
This marks Baidu’s first bond issuance since 2021 and comes ahead of a US$600 million debt maturing on April 7, according to Bloomberg data.
此次发行是百度 自2021年以来的首次债券发行，恰逢 6亿美元债务 将于 4月7日 到期。
