Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 Edge, a 5.8mm-thick, 163g smartphone priced at $1,099, hitting U.S. shelves on May 30. Significantly thinner and lighter than its S25 Ultra counterpart, it blends premium features like a titanium frame, 200MP camera, and AI capabilities with the lightness of the base S25. Blake Gaiser highlighted customer demand for sleek, pocket-friendly designs, with the device aiming to “disappear” in users’ hands. The release precedes Apple’s expected slimmed-down iPhone 17 this year.
