China Adds EU Defence Firms to Export Control List
中方将欧盟防务企业列入出口管制清单
China has placed seven European Union defence and aerospace entities on its export control list, banning them from receiving “dual-use” goods from China. These items can have both civilian and military uses. The Ministry of Commerce said the move targets firms linked to arms sales to Taiwan and aims to protect national security. It follows recent EU restrictions on Chinese entities over alleged support for Russia’s war in Ukraine. China stressed the measures affect only a small group and will not disrupt normal trade with compliant EU businesses.
